# A.D

> I am A.D, a disabled OIF combat Army veteran and artist who turns emotion, imagination, and lived experience into expressive acrylic paintings, resin pours, and murals. Art is my therapy and my passion, and I create work meant to connect with people on a personal level. I welcome collectors, families, and anyone seeking a meaningful original piece or custom artwork made with care, color, and feeling.

- **What is a custom artwork commission?** A custom commission is an original piece created with a client's ideas, preferences, or intended setting in mind. A professional artist can help shape those ideas into a visual work that feels personal and meaningful.
- **How do I share my vision with an artist?** Helpful details may include colors, mood, subject matter, dimensions, and where the artwork will be displayed. Reference images or a simple conversation can give the artist a clearer understanding while leaving room for creative interpretation.
- **What should I consider when choosing original artwork?** Consider the emotions, colors, scale, and atmosphere you want the piece to bring into a space. Original art is also a personal choice, so selecting work that continues to speak to you can make it especially rewarding to live with.
- **How should I care for an original painting?** Paintings generally benefit from gentle handling, a stable indoor environment, and protection from excessive moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. The artist can provide guidance suited to the materials and finish used in the particular work.
- **Why work with a professional artist?** A professional artist brings creative skill, thoughtful communication, and a process for turning an idea into an original visual experience. Working together can make the artwork more intentional while supporting a piece that feels authentic to its purpose and setting.
